I’m Hannah Davies, the Professional Development Manager at Progressus Care. I lead all aspects of staff training, competency development and ongoing learning across the organisation. I design, deliver and evaluate in‑house training courses, ensuring every programme is up‑to‑date, compliant with legislation and genuinely useful to the staff I support.
A key part of my role is maintaining full oversight of CPD, training matrices and qualification progress, including supporting staff completing Level 2 and 3 Health and Social Care qualifications. I work closely with Home Managers, Directors and Social Care Wales to ensure our workforce meets regulatory requirements and consistently develops the knowledge and skills needed to deliver high‑quality care.
I also collaborate with external training providers and colleges, manage the annual professional development budget and produce clear monthly reports that highlight staff progress and training outcomes. I’m committed to creating an encouraging, well‑organised learning environment and ensuring that every employee has access to meaningful training, constructive feedback and bespoke development opportunities.
