Our Vision

At Progressus Care, we provide safe, nurturing and supportive homes for children and young people aged 7–18 across South Wales. We understand that every young person’s journey is different. Through trauma-informed care, emotional support and tailored education, we create environments where children can overcome challenges, build positive relationships and reach their full potential.

Our vision is to stand for better in children’s care through trauma-informed, relationship-based homes that help young people feel safe, valued, and ready for brighter tomorrows.

Why Choose Progressus Care?

Our Mission

Our mission is to Stand for Better every day by providing safe, nurturing, trauma-informed, relationship-based care that helps children and young people feel valued, build trusted relationships, and move towards brighter tomorrows.

Our 4 Core Values

1. Relationship First

Relationships are the first piece of the puzzle, creating the foundation for children and young people to feel safe, valued, and understood. We prioritise building meaningful, secure relationships that support healing, growth, and positive outcomes.

2. Consistency

Consistency helps every piece of the puzzle fit together. Through dependable, predictable care, we create the stability children and young people need to feel safe and supported.

By being consistent in our actions, expectations, and support, we build trust, confidence, and emotional security.

3. Voice of the Child

Every child is a unique piece of the puzzle. We listen, involve, and empower young people to shape the care and support they receive.

By ensuring their voices are heard and respected, we promote choice, build confidence, and support a strong sense of belonging.

4. Belonging & Identity

A strong sense of belonging helps every piece of the puzzle find its place. We support children and young people to understand who they are, where they come from, and where they are going.

By nurturing identity, celebrating individuality, and creating environments where young people feel they truly belong, we promote self-worth, resilience, and positive well-being.

Safe, Supportive Homes Designed Around Every Young Person

Our children’s residential care services focus on creating a stable and caring home environment where young people can thrive. We provide personalised support plans that recognise each child’s experiences, strengths and goals.

Our experienced care team works closely with children, families, education providers and professionals to ensure every young person receives consistent support that promotes their wellbeing, development and future success.

At Progressus Care, we believe that with the right support, every child has the opportunity to grow, achieve and build a positive future.
